Fascinating that news articles and editorials on the subject of local homeless issues are so often devoid of any mention of Warren v. Chico. Specifically, a recent Sunday editorial on the naming of the Pallet camp. Refresher: Legal Services of Northern California sued the the City of Chico, obtaining an injunction halting camp sweeps. A conservative federal judge issued the injunction after looking at Chico's laws, policies and practices. The judge flatly stated that Chico has 'unconditional laws' on its books.
