Donations are welcome to Cinderella's Closet until 3 p.m. Friday as the event takes place Saturday at the Chico Marketplace. CHICO, Calif. - Cinderella's Closet returns to the Chico Marketplace this weekend, offering free prom wear for local high school students. This is the 17th year the Student Teachers Association is hosting the event. Hundreds of articles of clothing have been donated, like dresses, suit jackets, ties, shoes, and accessories. A number of agencies, like Butte County's Probation Department, have been collecting for the project.
